Description:
Adults 10" to 15" in length. Color light brown, gray, or reddish, usually with dark to black crossbands. Moderately slender body, with smooth scales. Divided anal plate.
Elevation Range:
Below 5500' in southeastern Colorado.

Listed as Sonora episcopa in some publications.
